To fix error "Engine initialization failed"



The reason of this problem is filter driver related cd-rom from other companies brand.

To fix this,

Windows Start and input command "regedit" on Run area

And move to below path

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e965-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}


If you find "UpperFilters" and "LowFilters", Please remove both elements

Restart your windows

Learn about the settings that appear when you click the Sound category on the left when you click Tools-Options in the Ocam menu.

 
Only offers options for the current microphone settings, and you do not need to change these settings by default.

However, if the microphone is recording only from one speaker (when using the USB audio interface), you can change this option to fix the problem.

If you hear sound from the left speaker after recording the microphone, change the input source to "Input 1 (left channel)". If you only hear sound from the right speaker, change the input source to "Input 2 (right channel)".
