Learn about the settings that appear when you click the Sound category on the left when you click Tools-Options in the Ocam menu.

 
Only offers options for the current microphone settings, and you do not need to change these settings by default.

However, if the microphone is recording only from one speaker (when using the USB audio interface), you can change this option to fix the problem.

If you hear sound from the left speaker after recording the microphone, change the input source to "Input 1 (left channel)". If you only hear sound from the right speaker, change the input source to "Input 2 (right channel)".

[Tips]Download external codecs

The following external codecs have been arranged, so please install and use if you need.

If you restart Ocam after installing an external codec, it appears in the External codec item.

The Xvid video codec implements MPEG-4 Simple Profile and Advanced Simple Profile standards. 

 

x264vfw is the VfW (Video for Windows) version of well known x264 encoder + ffh264 decoder. 

 

The VP8 codec encodes with same or higher quality than most H.264 video encoders. 

 

Lagarith is a lossless video codec intended for editing and archiving.
